UCL: You Have To Respect Chelsea – Lampard Slams Players After Elimination

Chelsea interim manager, Frank Lampard has hit out at the players, calling for them to “respect the club” following their Champions League exit.

The Blues lost 2-0 for the second time within a week at Stamford Bridge and were eliminated thanks to a 4-0 aggregate.


Rodrygo scored twice for the holders to see off Lampard’s men.

Lampard has now turned his attention to the rest of the season with seven league fixtures left.


The former England midfielder wants the squad to be motivated, as they seek to finish the campaign on a high.


“They have to be motivated, you’re playing for Chelsea. Players have to respect the club, and they do.


“I want to see that in their performances until the end of the season,” Lampard said.
