The just concluded presidential election which produced the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari, as the next Head of States for the next four years is still being celebrated across the nation, but what many seem not to be focusing on are the results of other parties, especially those who fell into top five in the last presidential election.
The five parties which garnered the highest votes are: the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peoples Coalition Party (PCP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Action Democratic (ADP).
It may surprise you to know that parties like the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), The African Action Congress (AAC) and Young Progressives Congress (YPP) who had promising and prominent candidates like Omoyele Sowore and Kingsley Moghalu did not get more votes.
The third party with the highest votes, PCP, came as a surprise seeing its campaign activities before the election were negligible.
PCP presidential candidate, Nicholas Felix(37) is from Edo State, and a full Time Pastor in the United States. Felix Nicholas contested under Peoples Coalition Party (PCP)
Dr. Nicholas Felix holds a doctorate degree in Divinity from CICA International University and Seminary in New York, United States.
