Worship centres will reopen in Ogun state from Friday, August 14, the state government has declared.
This was disclosed by Gov. Dapo Abiodun while briefing journalists in Abeokuta.
The governor said the religious centres must however strictly follow COVID-19 measures and guidelines.
He warned that any worship centre that fails to follow all the guidelines would be sanctioned appropriately,
“As government, we will not hesitate to impose severe sanctions, including, but not limited to, lockdown on any Worship Centre that fails to comply with the laid down guidelines.”
