Just like the mythical phoenix that rose from its ashes, dynamic Fuji musician, Abass Akande fondly called Obesere has returned to action with lovely vibes, electrifying stage craft, irresistible beats and theatrical display. But first to experience the artiste’s repertoire will be the residents of Ikeja in Lagos.

Every last Friday of the month, the Paramount King of Music (PK1st) will be on stage at West Doors Hotel, Opebi, Lagos. The first salvo was fired penultimate Friday, October 25, when Ikeja residents were treated to soothing music from the artiste.

Speaking shortly after his performance, the energetic singer in a brief chat with Society People promised to reinvigorate some of the nostalgic performances that won him the consciousness of music enthusiasts, years back.

“This is just a tip of the iceberg of what to expect from Obesere. Henceforth, my fans around Lagos will enjoy unimaginable vibes from me. I’ve received barrage of calls from my fans who want me to bring back the feelings they had in the late 90s and beyond, and for their sake we have decided to bring it back to them in a better form. So, music lovers should expect the best of music from me,” he hinted.

In the face of this new development, the Ibadan-Oyo State musician, however, promised to maintain the date as not to be in conflict with his numerous music shows in and outside the country.
