Former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has stated that his relationship with Muhammadu Buhari is cordial despite party affiliation and political difference.
Jonathan made this known on Tuesday, July 21, while addressing the pressmen at the State House in Abuja.
Recall that the former president met Buhari behind the closed-door at the presidential villa, Abuja and one of the purposes of the meeting was connected with the honour Buhari bestowed on him recently.
Goodluck Jonathan acknowledges President Muhammadu Buhari-led government for continuing the legacy of his administration.
President Buhari had on Saturday, July 18, approved the naming of the railway complex in Agbor, the operational hub of Itakpe-Warri rail line, after Jonathan.
Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, made this confirmation on Saturday through a tweet by the presidential aide, Tolu Ogunlesi.
Jonathan said he is happy with the honour and the continuity of the legacy of his administration by the Buhari-led government.
