Mourinho Taunts Wenger Again Over Title Race

Jose Mourinho chose his first official press conference as Manchester United manager to take a pot-shot at a long-term managerial rival.
Asked whether he had to prove himself again at Old Trafford following his sacking by Chelsea in December 2015, Mourinho turned the attention to Arsene Wenger, with whom he has long had a stormy relationship.
“There are some managers, the last time they won a title was ten years ago, the last time I won was a year ago,” Mourinho said, referring to Frenchman Wenger, whose last English Premier League title with Arsenal came in its unbeaten season of 2003-04.
Mourinho took over from Louis Van Gaal as United manager at the end of May, but had yet to face the press officially before Tuesday.
The 53-year-old Portuguese expects four major signings, with Eric Bailly, the Ivorian central defender, already through the door, along with Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the Armenian attacker from Borussia Dortmund, is expected to join this week, while Paul Pogba, the France and Juventus central midfielder, is believed to be the fourth target.
