In news that broke out on the 1st of July, 2021, it was made known that operatives of the Department of State Services and soldiers stormed the house of Chief Sunday Adeyemo, widely known as Sunday Igboho and raided it, as it was made known that during the raid, two of his men were gunned down after they confronted DSS, while others were apprehended and taken to DSS facility in Abuja.

On the night his house was raided, DSS paraded his boys that were arrested and also paraded the pump-action rifles and AK-47 rifles that were recovered from his house, as they gave Sunday Igboho a stern warning that he should surrender himself to DSS so that he won’t get into more trouble.

A lesson to learn…

One thing people should know is that there is no government that is not greater than her citizens because they have all the resources that make them powerful more than citizens.

One thing everyone should know is that, when the government declares any of its citizens wanted, the best thing is for that person to surrender his or herself because no one can escape from the government. An example is the case of Nnamdi Kanu, the Biafra Republic agitator, who fled the country in 2017, thinking he already escaped, before he was arrested last month and taken back to Nigeria to face legal prosecution.
