Victor Moses’ hopes of playing for Premier League side Chelsea this season has been thrown into serious uncertainty after the Blues manager stated that the Nigerian is not in his plan.
The former Super Eagles star established himself as a key figure at right-wing back under Conte, but struggled to hold down a regular berth under his successor Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Moses later spent time on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce and Serie A giants Inter Milan before he returned to Chelsea before the start of the ongoing League season.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has made big signings this summer even though the Blues have not yet gotten their rhythm so far in the Premier League.
Moses was not allotted a jersey number by Chelsea for the 2020/2021 Premier League season casting doubts about his future at the London based side.
There were talks he could still feature for Chelsea this term following their hectic schedule and injuries to Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
“At the moment, Victor isn’t in that moment with us. He isn’t in the bubble with us at the training ground but I know him well and trained with him,”
Lampard explained according to the video made available on Twitter.
🗣️"He is not in our training bubble, we'll see what happens in the next week."
