Instead of eating red meat excessively more poultry particularly white meat and fish, which are low in iron and heme should be consumed. Choose also the heart-healthiest sources of protein whenever you can, especially beans, legumes, nuts, tofu, and nonfat dairy.

2. Donuts

Donuts and many other baked goods are usually consumed these days by some people. People who have clocked 40 years should be very careful while consuming doughnut, it causes bad cholesterol in the blood which can block the flow of blood to the brain.

Avoid excessive intake of doughnut and other baked goods. Even better, bake your own cakes, doughnut, and other snacks.

3. Salty Foods

High salt intake is associated with significantly greater risk of stroke. Sodium is needed by the body to regulate blood pressure, but excess consumption of dietary sodium (salt) causes fluid retention and also increase your blood pressure.
