Here Is Everything You Need To Know About Fire Boy DML’s New Album ‘#Apollo’

For his latest album Apollo, out Thursday, Fire Boy DML is boosting the 17-track project’s release by sharing an accompanying video.

The album boasts executive producer credits from “Olamide Baddo” Pheelz, Type A, iamBeatz, and P.Prime himself. The album was mainly recorded in Lagos amid the (still-ongoing) COVID-19 pandemic and includes contributions from D Smoke, Wande Cole, Olanide and more.

“My second studio album, Apollo. this was bound to happen. gratitude to God for blessings. gratitude to everyone who worked with me on this album; gratitude to my team (YBNL/Empire), my family and the kings who blessed this project with their presence. see you on Thursday, he wrote.

The 17-track album includes “ELI,” “Tattoo,” and “New York City Girl,” as well as appearances from D Smoke, Wande Coal, and Olamide. The record is out this Thursday, August 20.

 

 

“This album is about evolution, growth, love and pain,” Fireboy DML wrote. “Gratitude to God for blessings. Gratitude to everyone who worked with me on this album; gratitude to my team (YBNL/EMPIRE), my family and the kings who blessed this project with their presence.”

Last year, Fireboy DML released his debut album Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps.
