Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s Men, Gboyega Akosile, Segun Fafore Honoured

Yesterday, the Lagos chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, at a special dinner held in Lagos  bestowed honour on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s men, Gboyega Akosile and Segun Fafore.

Both media strategists were recognized for their great impacts in the PR and media industry.

Reacting to the award via his Twitter handle, Akosile, who’s the Chief Press Secretary to the governor tweeted: “The best form of honour is one bestowed on you by your professional colleagues, associations or Institutions. I’m very excited to have been named alongside great PR and Media practitioners for a special professional achievement recognition by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.”

He also went to congratulate his colleagues who were honoured together.

Akosile, born in Lagos Island on the 8th of November, 1971, attended University of Ilorin, Kwara State and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Performing Arts. He has worked both locally and internationally with different media houses before his emergence as CPS.
Meanwhile, Segun Fafore is the Executive Assistant on New Media and Public Relations to Governor Bababjide Sanwo-Olu.

Fafore was formerly at the helms of affairs at the communication department at Nestoil and Access Bank.

He was the Consultant- In- Chief at Reputation Plus Limited, the company not too long ago before the appointment by Governor Sanwo-Olu.
