By May 29, 2015, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola’s tenure as Lagos State governor would have come to its glorious end, but the governor would not wait till then before he starts planning for life afterwards.
While some governors have signaled their interest in running for the Senate, we heard it from good authority that Governor Fashola is not interested in any political office after the expiration of his tenure.
A very reliable source close to the governor told ‘this platform’ that the highly revered governor is keen on studying more at Harvard University.
He is also said to be interested in lecturing and practicing his law career as a SAN. According to our reliable source, Fashola had put an office in place at Igbosere, Lagos for his law practice before he was made a governor and he would love to return to that after rounding off in office.
Born in Lagos on 28 June 1963, Gov Fashola attended Birch Freeman High school Lagos and Igbobi College, Lagos. He studied Law at the University of Benin from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws, LL.B.(Hon), degree in 1987
