Genevieve Nnaji Under Fire For Saying ‘Women Live In Constant Fear Of Men’

A sentence in the recent tweet of Popular Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji didn’t go down well with some men as they took to her neck.

Genevieve who reacted femininely to the deaths of a 17-year-old girl called Tina Ezekwe who was shot dead around the Berger area in Lagos and a first-year Microbiology student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Uwaila Omozuwa who died after being raped and beaten inside her local church has come under heavy attack for saying ‘We Live In Constant Fear Of Men’

 

Talking to Twitter, the screen goddess, Genevieve Nnaji wrote: “They either abuse their power, or have the power to abuse. In or out of uniform, we live in constant fear of men. Tina Ezekwe. Vera Omozuwa. Rest In Peace my darlings. We will get justice.🌹💔”

 

The death of the teenage girl sparked outrage in Nigeria and all over social media which people from all walks of life are calling out the police force and demanding justice for the deceased.

 

As for the 22-year-old UNIBEN student who died sorrowfully, she went to read at her usual place, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Edo Province 10, Ikpoba Hill, Benin, where she aped and attacked with fire extinguisher by unknown men on Wednesday, May 27.
