The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has shed light on why he’s slowing down on road fixing and construction at the moment. According to him, ‘this is raining season and if you ask any any civil engineer they will tell you that when you fix roads in the rain, it will wash away. So we are taking our time. I’ve approved many roads and would still do more before this month ends.
“We are going to start the construction and repairs of the roads in Lagos fully next month, but my fear is that by the time we start next month people will not start complaining that he’s doing so many roads at a time.”
