The former chairman of the Lagos State chapter of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa who was accused of sponsoring the killing of a fellow NURTW member last year seems to have been freed of his worries as he was spotted last night partying at the 62nd birthday bash of Fuji legend, Wasiu Ayinde popularly known as K1 De Ultimate in Lagos.
The NURTW zonal chairman in Lagos was spotted wearing a red buba and sokoto with a cap to match as you can see. He was seen moving closer to the ex-governor of Osun State and the celebrant.
It would be recalled that Olohunwa was paraded alongside one Adeola Williams a.k.a. Ade Lawyer by the police in Lagos for the murder of one Ganiyu Ayinla a.ka. Pinero, who was until his death the personal assistant to Lagos NURTW top-shot, Kunle Poly. Ade Lawyer then confessed that Olohunwa contracted him with the sum of N1.5m to kill Kunle Poly, but eventually the plan failed as the shot hit his PA. And because he could not deliver the said target, Olorunwa refused to pay his balance which was a sum of N1m.
On the other hand, Olohunwa admitted giving Ade Lawyer the sum of N500,000 but claimed the money was not meant to assassinate anyone.
