Both English premiership clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal have qualified for the Europa league semifinals.
Chelsea made it to the final after beating Slavia 4-3 last night at Stamford bridge in London. Chelsea’s goals were scored by Pedro (2) and Giroud and an own goal by Slavia’s Deli. All the four goals were scored in first half but the opposition came back stronger in the second half scoring two early goals. The match later ended 4-3 and Chelsea won 5-3 on aggregate having won the first leg by a lone goal.
Meanwhile, in the other match, Arsenal beat Napoli by 1-0, courtesy of Lacazette.
And having won the first leg by 2-0, the Gunners qualified on 3-0 aggregate. Arsenal will now play Valencia in the semifinals while Chelsea will play German side, Eintracht.
