COVID-19: “Survival Has Been Difficult For Me And My 4-Month-Old Daughter “- Private School Teacher Cries For Help

A private school mathematics teacher identified as Kingsley Chukwuemeka on Thursday, took to his Twitter handle to seek help after the federal government closed all schools in Nigeria due to coronavirus pandemic.

 

Recall that the federal government has ordered all schools across the country to close down since March when Nigeria started witnessing fresh coronavirus cases.

This is coming from Kingsley four months after all private school teachers have not been offered anything that can put food on their tables.

He wrote: “My name is Kingsley I teach in a private secondary school. Survival has been difficult since school closure. I have a 4 months old daughter. I need online private coaching opportunities or any job. I observe all NCDC rules. I stay in Minna Niger State. This is my family please help.

 

“I teach mathematics SS1 and SS2. Name of school: Himma International College Minna Niger State. Ask @OnwukweU in case you doubt. I can provide my appointment letter dated 2012 when I got the employment. I’m not a scam ma/sir. He added as he shared the picture of his identity card while replying a Twitter user to ascertain he was not a scammer.
