Starboy Records boss Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has urged his fans to vote for Nigerian music legend Fela Kuti in the polls for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The polls were open to fans to vote for legendary musician who has made their mark in the music industry to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 2021.
Fela Anikulapo Kuti was a multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer, political activist and Pan-Africanist. He is regarded as the pioneer of Afrobeat, and an inspiration to many modern music artists in Nigeria and Africa at large, including Wizkid.
He currently occupies the top position in the leaderboard ahead of Tina Turner, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden and Foo Fighters, as at the time of writing.
Wizkid took to his official Twitter page to drop the link for the polls and also persuade his fans to vote for the iconic Fela.
