Popular singer Jesse King has denied being indebted to any bank, saying he did not take any loan from First City Monument Bank (FCMB) nor does he have an account with the bank. Late last year, the name Jesse King was among the names published by the bank as one of its debtors and many were quick to relate it to the music star.
Reacting to the debt rumour, the Buga crooner told Benconews that the story is untrue and should be disregarded. “That I owe a bank? Me? That’s untrue. I don’t even have an account with them. I guess it’s not my own Jesse King.,” he reacted.
According to the report, the said Jesse King owes the bank a total sum of N13m and the artiste jocularly put it this way on hearing the sum; “if I’ve such money in my account that means I’m rich. And if it’s true the bank had published my name as its debtor that means I may sue them for libel.”
Meanwhile, far away from the bank issue, Buga is presently promoting tourism and culture across the country. He’s said to be so engrossed with this to the extent that he’s brought many foreigners into the country to explore her fine cultural values and heritage.
More so, Jesse King is currently preparing for his next album which is yet to be titled. So far, he’s released three albums namely Buga, Rooted and Mr Jeje.
