BUA Foundation Feeds 10,000 Daily In Lagos

BUA Group, a leading food, cement and infrastructure conglomerate, has continued in its bid to feed the hungry and vulnerable in the society as the economy bites hard as a result of the global pandemic, COVID-19.

The company is sponsoring this initiative through it’s foundation, BUA Foundation.

For the past three days, the company has been feeding over 10000 people daily.

And just yesterday, another 10,000 emergency and ramadan meals were distributed across
Lagos. This brings to 30,000, the number of processed meals BUA Group have provided in the following locations across Lagos.

Locations include:- Ikorodu, Oshodi, Èbúté Mẹtta, Yaba, Akute, Shangisha, Surulérè, Jakande, Langbasa, Lekki 1, Festac, Onipanu, Ikoyi, Ogba, Igbogbo, Victoria Island amongst others.

This is in addition to its feeding programme in Kano that has seen over 1million people receiving food palliatives within the past month.

That initiative has so far commendably provided over 670,000 non-processed meals across Lagos, Ogun, Ondo. ⁣

Meanwhile, the foundation has expressed its appreciation to some of her partners who have supported the project in one way or another. Some of these partners include Taste Fried Chicken, Noellafoundation Foodcliquesupport, community associations, traditional leaders and the hundreds of volunteers who continue to work with the BUA brand to help in reducing hunger during the lockdown and even moreso now, during the holy month of Ramadan.⁣

Moreso, the company has revealed that it will continue these food programmes for the considerable future as it work with other initiatives like CA-Covid and various governments to fight the Covid-19 virus.⁣
