The faceoff between the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress following the defection of Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, from the latter to the former continues with Femi Fani-Kayode lambasting ex-Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
Both parties have been engaged in a war of words since Saraki’s defected alongside his loyalist.
On Thursday the war took a new turn when the APC, through its acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, claimed that a “mean” man like Saraki who allegedly “betrayed his father, sister (many times)” does not deserve the Senate President that should be “reserved for the best of the best”
Reacting on his Twitter account, Fani-Kayode slammed the APC and its national chairman, asking him “what did your father achieve?”
Twitter users reacted to the battle, with many taking sides. See tweets below:
Oshiomole's father was unknown, yet Oshiomole himself by sheer will and determination rose up to be a labour leader, a governor and now a national party chairman. I may not like him but man isn't that one hell of advancement? People don't choose their fathers!
