President Goodluck Jonathan has lost his younger sister, Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, announced this in a statement today. Abati said the president announced the passing away of his beloved junior sister with deep sorrow. The statement said 52-year-old Mrs. Jonathan-Olei passed away earlier today at a hospital in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Capital, after a brief illness. The statement added that burial arrangements would be announced later by the family. Recall President Goodluck Jonathan’s foster daughter’s traditional marriage ceremony held in Yenagoa the Bayelsa State Capital on Saturday, 3rd January 2015.
