Day George Weah’s Wife Fumbled

The latest African first lady, Mrs. Clar Weah was so nervous on the night of 4th January, 2018 as she climbed the big stage to stand in for the husband, H.E George Weah. The president of Liberia was a platinum award winner at the just ended Aiteo CAF Awards 2017 in the city of Accra. And the first lady who was present was to pick the award in his absence. The award was delayed for some few seconds, but was later cheered with some applause.

It all happened when she was to give an appreciation on behalf of the husband after the award was presented to her. In her own words, she wasn’t fumbling because that was her first time standing in front of crowd but rather first time standing in front of these prestigious crowd. She later chipped in, she’s very sure the husband was using this as a training class for her as she’s now the first lady of Liberia and will be doing this from time to time. Upon the fumbling, she made it known to everyone how nice she was welcomed in Ghana, and how she’s really enjoying her stay in the city of Accra.

Another guest who also received the platinum award with H.E George Weah was the president of the hosting nation, Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. And present at the night was great men from all over Africa. The night was so blessed to host the former president of Ghana and the wife, Jerry John Rawlings, GFA president, Nyantakyi and many others.
