Barcelona boss, Ernesto Valverde has described Tottenham Hotspurs’ striker, Harry Kane as a ‘decisive’ player ahead of both teams clash on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
Valverde said that his side must keep Kane quiet if they are to earn a victory against Spurs at Wembley Stadium.
Valverde’s men head to the game after defeating Dutch champions, PSV Eindhoven in their Champions League opener two weeks ago.
“We know Kane is a decisive player,” Sportmole quoted Valverde as saying at the pre-match press conference.
“We cannot compare last year and this year, what we know is his quality. We expect his best on Wednesday and we must try to stop him.”
Kane scored twice in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town at the weekend in the Premier League to take his goals tally to five in eight matches this season.
