Nigerian female player, Asisat Oshoala broke down in tears tonight as she’s crowned the best female player of the year in Ghana. While receiving the award, she intermittently said in tears that she’s most excited about tonight award because many people talked her down while leaving a more prosperous club, Arsenal for China. But today she’s proud of herself.
When i was leaving Arsenal many people said i should not leave, but I said to myself that I can do it but today, here I am,” she said.
“Do not let anyone talk you down, this is my encouragement to young ones,” she concluded in tears.
